At Belfire we offer a variety of classes and rentals to match your glassblowing needs. Take a moment to read through the options to figure out which is best for you or your group. Please provide which option you are interested in and the date/time you're looking to book. For faster service, please call 978.501.6934 to book. Please keep in mind that classes usually fill 2-3 weeks in advance so plan accordingly.

Make-Your-Own Class bookings are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 11am, 2pm, or 5pm time slots.

Make-Your-Own Classes

For those looking to experience hot glass and take home a beautiful handmade creation

Group Class

$90 per person

For groups of 3-10, each participant will make one piece with guidance from an instructor. No experience required, ages 8+. Class options are cups, floppy bowls, paperweights, or vases. Glass color is provided.

Two Person Class

$300 flat rate

This class is designed for couples or any two person team looking to bond over hot glass. With guidance you will assist each other in creating two pieces each, totaling in 4 pieces to take home. Class options are cups, floppy bowls, paperweights, or vases. Glass color is provided.

Hourly Rates

Sometimes making one piece isn't enough. If you need more, consider these options.

One-on-One Private Lesson

$90 per hour

This is for participants with little to no glassblowing experience. You will learn to make your own work through skill building exercises, repetition, and most likely breaking lots of glass. You will learn how to gather, shape, add color, and more. Some glass color is provided. 3 hour minimum, which can be flexible if necessary. Extremely difficult but very rewarding!

Shop Rental

$55 per hour

This option is available to established glass artists. You will have access to the 200 lb Wet Dog Glass furnace melting beautiful Spruce Pine batch, 15" max glory hole, pick-up ovens and a spacious annealer. No glass color provided. Limited pipes, it is recommended to bring your own. Oxy/propane available upon request. Assistance is available for an additional rate of $25 per hour. 3 hour minumum.
